Janet Oakes, president of Oakes and Company, Inc, began this company to expand her accounting based business and offer the talents of an exceptional group of professionals to the small and medium sized business owners of South Florida.  With an education in accounting and finance and over 30 years of business experience,  she has been involved in a variety of industries over the years including legal, residential and commercial construction, medical, agriculture, import/export,  general manufacturing and service based businesses.    Janet has strong business analytical skills and implements business strategies incorporating financial, sales, marketing and advertising input with specific goals in mind.  She has developed corporate training programs, conducted accounting staff training, and developed policy and procedures.
